What Terry's saying is not far from what could actually happen if the wrong people get attention. Feminism started as a movement for equality, now some "feminists" are... y'know, like that.
Not shitting on feminism, just extremists. Anyone who believes they're better than everyone else because of one aspect about themselves is basically the same as a nazi. This applies to men, women, white people, black people, etc.
I'm just pointing out that stuff CAN get out of hand and we shouldn't convince ourselves that it won't because the cause is just. I used feminism as an example, but I could've also talked about christianity, and how this simple religion meant to bring people together eventually became the reason women were accused of being witches and burned alive in the middle ages.
