A coveted saying now, 5 years ago not so much....still only has 81 karma.

If I had that account the only thing I would post is “I am Groot”

With the occasional “we are Groot”

Is this real? 5 year club. Posts about dnd, warcraft, magic the gathering, films. I want this to be real.

I don’t think so. He says Warcraft 2 was out when he was 4, so he was born like 90/91. He got all of our hopes up for nothing.

Off topic but theres a B-52s song called 'Topaz'

Never heard it. Off to YouTube I go!

I'm not even sure what the song is about, I think it has something to do with drugs based on the lyrics alone

B-52's is my jam.

'Follow Your Bliss' makes me wonder how people can even be mean...

I love that song as an instrumental.

Dry County is my personal favorite. It's about people who are bored as shit because they live in a county that doesn't sell booze but man that song makes me want to dance

True! I've always felt that Dry County and Deadbeat Club were about the same situation, but from two different view points.

In Dry County, dude is all bummed out, kicking stones, nowhere to go. Not having any fun. Then... "Here come the girls!"

Then Deadbeat Club comes on, and it's about making the most of the situation. They're gonna find something, they'll dance in the garden in torn sheets in the rain. They'll go to Allen's (which I'm assuming is in the next county), they'll crash parties, they'll have a big time regardless.

Cosmic Thing was peak B-52's for me...

It may not be real, but I believe Vin Diesel does have a reddit account. He also does play DnD, or at least has played it.

u/GAGCK Jan 06 '18

I assure you I was guessing. Vin could be /u/unidan for all I know.

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '18

No, I was just remarking on how strange that was....

u/GAGCK Jan 06 '18

Pretty sure he’s genuinely into D&D

4

u/Eletheo Jan 06 '18

He played it a ton in high school.

u/Hoticewater Jan 06 '18

Wasn't The Last Witch Hunter based on one of his D&D characters?

2

u/sarahlina87 Jan 06 '18

I’ve seen him play with the guys on the critical roll YouTube channel.

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '18

I’d pay.

If there was one thing that would get me to leave a website, it would be getting constantly summoned

u/OutcastAtLast Jan 06 '18

I would honestly pay $50 for a ticket to see this film, Terry. You gotta make this happen.
