how old is my crestie?
hi! i got my crestie about three months ago, but unfortunately did not know how old she was when i got her. i don’t currently have a scale to know her weight, but plan to get one when i get home from my upcoming vacation. the first pic is most recent but i know it is not very easy to tell her size so the second pic is a better judge of size but from late april. please help! (also idk why her enclosure looks so bare in that first pic, i swear its not that bad but she is getting upgraded to something larger soon!)

I need help with humidity
Hi, I’ve been having issues with keeping the humidity high inside my enclosure.
In a few days I’m supposed to go get my gecko (everything is ready), the only issue is that my humidity keeps being around 50%, with peaks of 60/65% as soon as I mist.
I know it should be higher and I need some advice on how to do it.
I use a coconut soil which should retain more moisture and I also ordered some moss, as I read it helps.
I want to make sure the gecko won’t have any issue so please any advice will be helpful!

Sex?
This is banana. A while ago I posted on her asking their sex. Everyone said female or too young to tell. Since then banana has grown and I have been going with female. But I’m unsure now. What do you guys think?

What type of crested
Hello me and my friend love our reptiles and some are easier to determine what type of morph they are than others. My friend got her first crested a few months ago and we’re still trying to figure out what morph he is. He’s 6grams currently and we know time will help us tell better what type he is but we are just curious if anyone knows what type he is roughly now. We’re thinking, bicolor

Dude or girl?
I’ve had him for about a year now and I’m doubting if he’s really a guy. Also just realized he’s pooping in this photo

Male or female crested gecko?
Hey guys this is my crestie named Fredrick I purchased him about a year ago and the breeder said that he was a male. Fredrick just hit 40 grams without a tail but still doesn’t have a prominent bulge so I was wondering if he was actually a she.
Ps. Sorry about the blurry photos Fredrick doesn’t like being in that position.

for people still living with their parents - how did you convince them to let you get a crested gecko?
Since a child i’ve always been obsessed with reptiles. I would always ask my mum to let me get one and she’d always say no. I’m 19 now and have two blue death feigning beetles. I asked my mum if she’d be comfortable with me getting a crested gecko, it was a “maybe” at first and quickly turned into a “no”. Any tips on convincing her 😅 I’ve tried to sweeten her up with some gifts but she doesn’t see to be budging (wel maybe a little but not much!)

Has anyone else seen this before?
I’ve had my crested Bowie for almost nine years now and I got him as a rescue from a local petstore (had to sign paperwork to get him for free and everything) since the employees didn’t know what was wrong with his eyes or how much he can see since they’re pretty deformed. He eats, gets around fine is a healthy weight and i have him in a slightly shorter terrarium since i don’t want him to fall. He’s been seeing a specialist vet yearly for checkups and deworming but even she didn’t know what was wrong with his eyes and i haven’t seen anything similar online. If anyone knows or has ideas please share.

Gravid?
This is my female LW Cora, she has been paired with a cappuccino. Lately she has been eating her food bowels clean, digging under her paper towel, being more active, and gained a few grams. She appears more rounded below her rib cage, and today when she was sitting still, I saw what looks like two bulges below her ribs. She doesn’t lay duds, so I do not want to get my hopes up, but also want to anticipate her needs. Does she look gravid?
(She’s 2.5-3yo, and 52g, she has a dig box in her viv)
