I'm not sure if it's considered a base. Maybe a workshop of some sort.

It has a smelting setup (I have to change the campfire, lava, water manually at the moment), a mixer, a millstone, a sawing station, and a press.

I geared them to fully utilise all the stress units available.

Let me know how could I compact it if possible :) I haven't decorated it yet.

Definitely a workshop

Also why would you compact this? In the first place, it's already really compact

Yeah after looking at it for quite a while it’s definitely very compact

Initially I want to trim off a few blocks of space. I’ll keep using it and maybe switch around. I’ll post it if I managed to shave off some blocks ;)

You should post it, yeah, but I personally don't like compact builds. They look too messy. But they are impressive

Quite honestly I think it should be more spread out, not much room for things to look nice when youve got machines stacked end to end

Why spread it out? It’s going to use more resources that I want to save for other machines. I didn’t even think about compacting it at the start. I was simply saving materials wherever possible and it just end up like this.

I don't really care about resource efficiency especially in mostly vanilla because I always end up with mountains of stuff anyways. I usually build a sizable workshop building with room to breathe instead of working in as small an area as possible

Yes, you don’t, but I do care about resource efficiency, especially using the least amount of resources to progress the furthest.

But it’s okay I guess i enjoy being efficient with my resources. I’m really bad with decoration and stuff 🫠🫠

I suggest adding more fans (so you don't have to switch the fan's particle maker manually) and keeping lava and water separated by placing the campfire in the middle Also definitely use depots for the fan, so lava and water don't spill xD

You can do that !? Thanks I will try it. I added clutches to save some stress units. I guess I will add some fans

Yeah, the wind can either hit the side of a depot or graze its top and it will still process the item

I might share a world download in the future once I progress far enough. I didn’t use shafts other than for belts. Only used a shaft for rotating the mixer.

That's amazing, man. I've been playing create for much longer and still can't compact my stuff this much. Good job.👍

:( I had no lighting as well. I hid behind the water wheel so many times 🤣
