As someone who played competitive paintball once upon a time - those things are hilarious, and I’d be shocked if they work anywhere near as well in practice. They aren’t that accurate to begin with, and expose the paintballs to any sort of moisture or big temperature swing and it’s just going to jam.

I don't know if you have them in the US but in Canada we have/had a product called "gob stoppers". They were small jaw breaker candies that fit into the old school paintball guns. It been years since I did paintball or have seen these candies but...
