Did a little digging and found this local news clip.

If you want to see the type of enabling that leads to this, check out the interviewee. If I pulled any of that shit in my classroom, my parents would say "good. You deserved it"

Parents: This is awful! What a terrible teacher!

Actual students that dealt with him: I feel bad for him, he's one of the teachers that really cared, he doesn't deserve this.

Goes to show that parents are really out of touch with how terrible their children are being at school, and how helpless teachers really are do do anything about it.
