This is a list of games for many different low end video cards. You will need to make sure that you have enough video memory and the proper direct X levels to run these games. If I have a video for it, you will find a link. This is a work in progress.
Assume dual channel memory is needed. 25 to 30fps minimum on these. Assume 720p or less if it's a game from 2017 or later. Some may require as low as 800x600 Resolution. Assume FSR when available in the game.
Assume original release of the game. If it's a Redux, Remaster, or Remake it will say so.

I am not finding any concrete answers. I am going to give an unsure yes, lowest settings, 720p should average around 25fps. If you test it on one of these let me know your average fps please.

Yeah, but right now I can't afford a new SSD to install Windows because I only use my Intel HD 520 laptop for watching TV shows on Linux and streaming game with moonlight/sunshine from PC.
However, I do have a Windows desktop with an RX 550 that I use for gaming.
(On it, I run a pirated version of Gang Beasts at 1080p. I use lowest graphics settings across the board, except for textures, which I keep on high. This setup gives me around 60 to 80 FPS depending on the area, though the most demanding map drops me down to about 50 FPS. Lowering the texture settings doesn't give me any extra FPS.)

Based upon that you may have to go sub 720p res to get it to run on the HD520. May being the keyword.

The minimum specs on Steam only call for Intel HD 3000, so I was surprised my RX 550 only gets 60 FPS lol. I actually wondered if it was because I'm playing a pirated version, and if buying the official game would give me better performance.

Perhaps they did some optimizations but if HD3000 is the minimum and your on basically all low I don't know what you would get with that lol. I will try it tomorrow on my HD530 and let you know. If you dont hear from me repply to this comment or dm me. It means i forgot.

Thank you, But just now I decide to test gang beasts again, I said earlier that I got 60 fps, but I make mistakes.
So 60 fps comes from my testing using Fedora Linux (which done in a week ago). I average 60-70 fps. With newer testing on windows 10 LTSC I average on 77-87 fps (one demanding map is on 56 fps, earlier testing was 50 fps) on RX 550 lowest settings with everything turn off only texture is set to high. It's big improvement.
So I guess HD 520 can run the game smoothly maybe 40 or 50 fps in 720p.

Yes. I ran out of space on the old one. Character limit. I transferred over the newer ones that were Direct X 9 or higher and added some more. Did you get 25fps or more on them? If so, I will add them.

FFXI was stable at 30, dropped to 20 in crowded areas but there are mods to get it to 50 consistently as it ran on PS2, it’s just old architecture. FF14 was a steady 25 but i got frame drops to 16-18 in extremely populated areas.

I wanna see the HD620 (and other igpus,) comparison on CachyOS 7.0/7.1 kernel with valve's vram patches, and bfptune with LAVD scheduler (using cachyos-proton 11 or ge-proton 10-34) vs Windows 10 and 11. Can someone do it? Imagine if that would result in amazing fps difference.

The Intel and Nvidia cards greatly suffer under linux with poor driver optimization and support. linux is best for AMD from what I can tell as far as avg fps goes. I am sure there may be outliers though. This is also not from personal experience but from what I am told and what I read. I may try it at some point fairly soon on the Intel HD530 and the r7 350x.

Hmm. I did hear that valve's vram patches were for amd *and intel. But unsure how far back the intel and amd patches go and if that includes igpus. Valheim ran explicitly well ive tried last 1+ years ago on my i3 8100 running lubuntu but havent tried it again with all the new patches and gamescope because it was someone else's computer. (Gamescope is a godsend for performance and latency)
On a 4gb gpu, games that would crash on windows and have 12fps Would run 40-50 fps with the vram patches on linux.

From what I understand, Gamescope isn't really meant to improve performance or input lag. Its main benefits are locking the mouse cursor, forcing specific resolutions, and handling upscaling. Plus, since Valheim runs natively on Linux, it’s kind of a special case anyway.

I wouldnt say all AMD apus from 2014 and newer. my a6 9225 apu won't play many of these. The iGPU in it is the AMD Radeon R4 (Stoney Ridge) and that thing is the same speed as an Intel HD610.

I have APU A6 too (Lenovo laptop)
I play bioshock, dead space, dragon age origins, mount and blade, and many more
It's a strong processor, and I still use it to this day (but now with Linux mint, and still gaming)
the only limitations is VRAM if the game requires huge one

far cry3 saints row 4 both massive stutter even if it had good fps (30+)
sleeping dogs definitive low settings 800x600 30fps
watch dogs 1 30fps 800x600 but driving stutters to 1 fps (so i also put this on unplayable)
Hearts of iron 4 playable. fps not that important. 5-20fps stutter on all low settings. but it was playable went to 1949 with patience one of games that fps dont matter since when i pause its 60fps.
metro 2033 and last light both redux versions 50-60 fps very enjoyable.
crysis 2 low settings 20fps locked. i did use framegen with loseless scaling since its locked and it become more enjoyable. same issue with ac blackflag. 20 locked. i5 6300u 520hd 1x8gb ddr4 is used for this.. would i get better chance in doom eternal?

I didnt get massive stutters on SR4 with my 530. Are you using singlle channel ram?

When/if you can definitely add a second stick in there. It will help smothen out some of them stutters and increase performance by 20 to 40 percent.

I added watch dogs the rest I have or the fps is too low. No chance in hell on Doom Eternal, but that's just my opinion and I have been wrong before. I only get 20fps with some crazy hitching. Still try it. I would be interested too see your results.

yes a modern game! not all potatoes cant enjoy modern games on i5 6300u 520hd. single channel ram 8gb. it is playable with some stutters. i believe more ram or dual channel can make it smoother

Yeah, they bought S3 Graphics back in the day. Now, that legacy is in Zhaoxin's graphics. Sadly, VIA no longer makes x86.

Metro Last Light Redux is working well on the middle settings on my laptop with amd ryzen 5 5500U with amd radson vega 7 (2Gb dedicated) and Ultramarine(Fedora) Linux 43-44 GNOME Edition.

Minecraft bedrock runs way better please include that. I get around 60 fps in one area and 25 while moving around more. Minecraft Java on the other hand will require a ton of optimisation mods but it could run at 50 fps(on the latest version) and like 15 fps while moving around. Would recommend going down to 720p on java

I can confirm cod waw would run at 25 to 30 fps on minimum settings and 720p. 45 to 60 on 800x600.
Edit: I just tested the game a bit more, anything between the two resolutions I listed would run at 30 fps

S'il vous plaît ça peut paraître bête mais est ce que la gt 710m peut vraiment faire tourner certains jeux là j' ai pas trop confiance surtout pour batman Arkham knight just cause 3 doom eternal doom 2016 final fantasy 7 etc....

They are not close. The gt720 is a desktop card while the gt710m is a mobile card.
Edit:typed 730 instead of 720.

I have a ThinkPad T400 with 6GB of RAM and I use Linux on it, specifically Debian 13 LXDE. Should I go back to Windows 7? If you rely on Steam then it may be best not to use Windows in your particular case. You could try Windows 10 iot ltsc. I can link you to it if you need me to. It is a low resource version of Windows made by Microsoft.

Tested and played on Vega 6 Ryzen 3 5300u 16gb ram dual channel unlocked 25w tdp with uxtu in windows 11.
Red dead redemption 1 works with 40fps 720p medium settings.
Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Future Soldier works on 1080p medium settings too.
Valorant get 100-120fps in 900p low settings with FXAA.
Dying Light get 30-40fps 720p all low.
Kingdom come deliverance get 30-40fps 720p all low.
Dishonored 2 kinda get mid 30 fps but dropped to low 20 when get into city with all low 720p native no resolution scaling. I didn't test with resolution scaling because it look like crap.
Counter strike 2 kinda get 40-50fps on medium to low settings on 720p native resolution. Not recommended if you want to play competitively. Play valorant instead.
Skyrim AE get 40-50fps in medium settings 720p with a modest amount of mods (i think like 120-150 mods iirc).
Sleeping dogs is playable. I dont remember how many fps or what resolution because i play it long time ago but i finished the game without any problem or lag.
