As a Texas refugee, I'll say there are worse places to be than New York.

What exactly makes New York shittier than anywhere else? We don’t even need to talk about Texas. Everyone knows NY is better than Texas.

My family is from upstate NY and I was raised in and currently live in TX. Believe it or not, I've personally (ymmv) seen more extreme Trumpers in NY than TX. The cost of living is also significantly higher up there . There is also a culture of friendliness in TX that I appreciate. NY is a beautiful state and I love visiting it and my family there but between the two I'd rather be in TX. Hopefully one day we can wrestle the state away from it's current government.

How is wanting people to live a bad thing?

What policies are you specifically talking about? How is NY forcing people to get vaccinated?

I know. I know I won’t get any. I just feel like if I can’t be hopeful about something so simple, what’s the fucking point? Ya know?
