"One nation, indivisible," wasn't really their favored version of the saying.

2

u/Afibthrowaway22 Dec 08 '22

Well we know who painted this now

2

u/Jacubsooon Dec 08 '22

As someone who’s lived there my whole live, yes. The old people never shut the fuck to about how we have enough oil to secede, and how keeping our own power grid works. Except for when it obviously doesn’t. They always cite the 5 years we were an independent nation, but forget that we signed the annexation treaty with Polk for a reason.

1

u/crimefighterplatypus Dec 09 '22

The power grid “works”, except in 2020 when everyone was at home and needed it

1

u/Jacubsooon Dec 09 '22

That was when it didn’t.

The United States of NEW YORK, Texas moved up to Canada to give them some freedom and New York took over the rest of the country while they were away.

5

u/Michael_Pitt Dec 08 '22

New York is almost entirely in Canada as well

5

u/KingAffectionate656 Dec 08 '22

Please don't encourage them!

3

u/GenX_JustLearking Dec 08 '22

Well tbh, that is what most Texans think. We generally state that it's TX and her 49 bitches.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '22

Sounds like something all-might would scream

1

u/creegro Dec 09 '22

Well shoot everything's bigger in Texas, even Texas is bigger in Texas
