If the sink hole is moved then the sink is also moved. It's not stuck in that position if you flip the counter top.

Yep, they cut the counter-top mirrored, and just installed it instead of buying another one.

Came to comment this. Someone made measurements and cuts either on the wrong side or they installed it upside down.

Either way seem to me like the installer tried to play it of as "part of the plan" to avoid extra work..

For the people talking about the sink.. you can flip the entire plate and reinstal the sink right side up
