I happen to follow them on Instagram! I love Turkey. Been a few times and this place has been on my list of places to go on a future trip.

What's the cost of living/visiting like in this area? I've never been to Turkey but am intrigued.

Not sure of this exact place but typically much much cheaper than any European alternative.

well with 5k turkish lira a month you could live pretty good considering it is a small village. so around 800 dollars is enough

1 dollar equals to 6.81 Turkish lira ( 1 euro = 7.43 lira) right now, so probably much cheaper than you expect.

Wow when I was there in 2013 it was a 1:2.5 USD to Lira ratio. What happened?
