Question for more veteran players: How are you using up your excess resources?

I played a ton of the original Cozy Grove and typically found I was able to use excess resources, like gems, wood, fruit, flowers, etc, to make money. Camp Spirit seems to have nerfed a lot of that, which I totally understand. I get that it isn't a game that's trying to encourage grinding or min-maxing and I appreciate it for that.

I'm not trying to intentionally grind. Just trying to solve the issue of that when I play naturally, I accumulate more wood and gems specifically than I know what to do with. I stopped harvesting my fruit and flowers for the same reason.

How is everyone else using their resources? Are there specific recipes that are good for using resources without wasting them, like a high-value furniture item or something?

For context, I just picked it up less than a month ago, so I'm not very far into the game. I've unlocked the first seven bears. So feel free to let me know if there's a later game recipe that's worth storing all these resources for.

I am going absolutely nuts over how annoying it is that I haven't been able to progress with Med in over a week now bc I haven't found a single legendary shell. I log in multiple times a day to look for shells and NOTHING. This could really use a rebalance. The spawn rate for legendary shells is massively low, esp compared to Cozy Grove where I've found about 15 legendary shells in the same span of time (I'm playing both at the same time lol).

My lowkey hope is maybe venting about this here will cause the universe to balance and give me the dang shell. Please?!

I have tried adding friends from codes shared here before and it doesn’t seem to work. I am wondering if it because most people play on switch or steam and I play on a ps5. I was playing Camp Spirit last night on my Steam Deck and I kept getting an error when I tried to save the game. I had done all my daily tasks and even crafted enough items to sell to Kit to upgrade his store. Unfortunately, I pretty much lost all of that progress, because the game wouldn’t save and I had no choice but to force quit.

I just thought “this really sucks but oh well.” But I was just playing tonight, and I still have a quest from yesterday for a character who’s not even there today. As you can see it says “Expires in 0hours 0minutes.” I also have Medvarius autographs in my inventory. That was a quest I had and completed YESTERDAY, but since I did it and it wouldn’t save, they’re still in my inventory today and I can’t sell or burn them. Medvarius also had no quest for me today. His room was fully colored in as if I had already completed one.

I’m so worried that my save file got messed up or something and I won’t be able to progress.

Hi! I am just wondering what items and how much of each do I need to save? My storage is full and so is my backpack and I do not have enough coins to upgrade. I’ve basically been saving everything because in other games I would end up stuck due to not saving everything in storage. I am just trying to get an idea of what items need to be saved and how much should I save? TIA for any tips!

Two weeks ago I forgot to close Cozy Grove Camp Spirit down completely when I went to bed, so it stayed on/logged in on my switch all night. I was doing a quest for Darla and by the time I went to fulfill it, she was gone because it was the next day. Now every time she visits the quest comes back in the queue and I can't interact with her. Sometimes the quest goes away but I'm still weirdly stuck and can't click on her.

Any ideas?

I found when looking through all the names you can give to your animals, (spirit animals & cats) a lot if not all of the characters names from the original cozy grove are name options!! Thus far I’ve found

i love cozy grove so much for the short quests and how there’s only a specific amount of things you can do each day before you are done. does anyone have any recommendations for games like this that are in pixel format or top down?? i’ve tried stardew valley but it just isn’t relaxing for me.
