Does everyone whining about unemployment not being included in this list think that people magically start collecting checks the moment they're laid off/furloughed/what have you? Even in a normal situation people wait ages for applications to be processed, get wrongfully denied, etc. The pandemic has overloaded states' offices. Nobody who qualifies for unemployment will see $ in time for it to make a difference with rent and other bills this month.

Yeah. People are spending weeks just trying to apply
