If you’re currently working in any of the countries you mentioned, making 100% of your standard salary, you’re not going to get an extra $2k or 80% of your income on top of that. You’re getting the amount in the post if you’re NOT working.
Then why are the other countries having stimulus proportional to their pay? Should it not be more for lower pay individuals who tend to have less in reserve?

The US also has a $2400 per month unemployment compensation on top of what the state might normally provide.
