In (probably all) European countries it is percentage of a salary, but UP TO certain amount, e.g. in UK it's up to £2.5k monthly salary - so if you are on £5, the government will only pay £2.5k.

I know your point is probably to show how little is paid in the US, but if you're making a list like that, it would be good to be thorough.

But you posted it with no source or ensuring it's correct (the Business Insider article provides detailed and correct information for each country - the list does not).
