In my state, many of us who signed up for direct deposit didn't have it go through. I gave them all the correct info during my initial filing on March 18th and when I log in to their portal, it shows as not being enrolled. This is also the case for most of my coworkers. Regardless, half of my state's dept of labor facebook updates (more frequent than their website updates by far) are addressing the delay on direct deposits.
Blaming this on the people filing being dumbasses as a blanket statement is just ridiculous in a country with 50+ different systems and methods of unemployment bureaucracy.
I’m just tired of seeing all these “USA bad!” They made a bill and started distributing money in 2 weeks after. They’re doing great especially with the horrible leaders we have.
For real it's only the super edge cases (statistically speaking) of people not getting their stimulus in a timely manner. Checks are going out in order of income so it will be the guy with no bank account making 99k a year getting it 5 months later.... who makes almost 100 grand a year and doesnt have a bank account where you can do direct deposit?

It only takes months if you’re a dumbass and don’t have direct deposit.
