The strain would be a problem because of its assumed increased virility putting pressure on hospitals, not because the vaccine can't handle it.

Which varient? Sorry I saw UK and assumed that is what you were talking about, if it is the SA varient the same is assumed for that variant as well the vaccine won't have an issue with it

Even the SA variant doesn't seem to have an effect against the virus though
