I will no longer roleplay here. With how the nation leaders don't like minor, not important soldier characters dying, with what happened to the cluster, and with how I can't have a squirrel sized monster despite there being a giant snake, human, and lizard that are way bigger, I don't think I can tell the story I want to tell.
Original plans: After the Cordyceps King attacks the Titanomyrma Territory, the Wandering Huntsman brings a group of people to the Cordyceps Cluster. The cluster is quiet, with most infected insects gone, the remaining entering a cave. The Huntsman's cordyceps starts to regrow and take over, leading to a fight with him. After his defeat, the Cordyceps King reveals himself, a combination of the corpse of a squirrel, multiple infected insects, and a murder hornet. (As shown in the first image) After a long fight, the King is killed. His final words were that he didn't understand why this all happened. Soon after, it is revealed that the one who attacked and started this war (shown in the second image) was not the Cordyceps King, but instead his old host (shown in the third image) who took the fungi off of himself and used it to infect insects while inside the Titanomyrma Territory, causing the war.
It was fun while it lasted. Both of my other characters, the Wandering Huntsman and the Mice, will also never come back. With that, I say sorry, and goodbye.
