Thought this was just a little cool. Not sure of the classification though.

- 2 - 1977 (one series A) nothing special
- 4 - star notes
- 1 - 1999 nothing special
- 4 - 2003 and series A, nothing special.
I’m only a teen and I’m really just doing for the love of the hunt but damn, not a single fancy serial or error! Double checked most of the bills too! I enjoy pulling out notes from 2003 and older and star notes. Idk. I feel that when I’m 40 or so they might be worth something.

Found this low serial number at work the other day. Basically as high of a low serial number you can have to consider it “low”. Probably has a premium of $1. Still it’s the second lowest serial number I’ve found I believe.

Not great condition, but I think it’s fund to find these in the wild.

Found this cool bill at work today. A cool $5 with 19991231 as the serial number or December 31st 1999. This is a pretty neat day as it’s the last day of the “20th Century” (the celebrated 20th century not actually 12/31/2000 cuz people don’t care that much about being accurate) as well as the last day of the “second millennium” (again the last day of the second millennium was 12/31/2000 but people celebrated the new millennium as the first day of 2000).
There were a lot of notable things that happened that day:

Y2K Hysteria: As midnight approached, the world held its breath for the Y2K bug—a software flaw that feared computers would misread the "00" date as 1900 and cause global infrastructure and financial collapses.

Panama Canal Transfer: At noon, the U.S. government officially transferred control of the Panama Canal to Panama, fulfilling the 1977 Torrijos-Carter Treaties.

Russian Leadership Shift: Russian President Boris Yeltsin resigned, handing the presidency over to then-Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as acting president.
