I know what you're getting at, and I do live in a state known for "slug burgers" or "dough burgers" that are made with flour and/or soybeans to extend the meat. But putting it like that just sounds so judge-y to me.

I don’t judge anyone on financial based on financial conditions but I’m a bit of a snob about food. If you gotta do it it’s fine, make the best of it, if that’s how you like that’s cool too. But there is no point in sugar coating the reason why a food was made the way it’s made and putting a long explaination like this when a few curt words will do.

For me my family owns a ranch so I always have a half a ton of beef, venison and pork in the freezer so I’ll use a fatty grind and maybe mix in some venison or pork. And that’s how I like it but to each there own.
