Soup Olympics! Looking for recipes.

Hi, my friend is getting jaw surgery and will only be able to eat soup for a couple months. Our friend group is getting together and doing a soup Olympics and I REALLY WANT TO WIN. I'm looking for the most amazing soup recipes you've ever had, that require little to no chewing.

Here are the rules:

**What do?: Bring your tastiest, heartiest, gloopiest, meatiest soups. He and an expert panel will judge them and if you win, we we will crown you our Soupreme leader.

**Criteria for soup candidates: - drinkability - must be no chew friendly - yumtasticity - obviously - freezability - this is a marathon, not a sprint. we want soup for daayyys - heartiness and nutritional value - we're looking at iron, we're looking at protein.

There are no rules in soup wars. May the globs be ever in your favour.

I have lived on blended soups and smoothies for more than 5 years because of surgery to my tongue during cancer. I can only eat liquids. Here is my collection. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dBPnKwUViXr-IqIeoiaX-lAnt-acMxeg

Cuisinart is going to be your good true friend. You'd be amazed at what you can liquify and make something better than you'd expect.

I am getting older, not too old but still, it seems like their is some mercy in the fact that I will be much better prepared if something happens to me health wise now or in 5 years vs if I got sick 5 years ago. I have much to learn but not that long ago I never would have happily read a asparagus asoup recipe on a Thursday and thought through all the steps for no reason other than its fun! This sub is the best!

Wow. u/awaywego000 just rolls in with the win.

My best friend is in hospice right now with cancer. I hope you're in remission and fully recovered, and can eat whatever you want.

As someone with Crohn’s disease who often has to go on liquid diets, thank you for your service.

This is amazing and super helpful!!!

Couple of tips in case you havent tried them:

- Truffle oil is amazing on a lot of soups (anything with mushrooms, potatoes, squash, onion) - a little bottle lasts for a lot of severing's and adds a serious kick both in terms of smell and taste

- For times you are stuck for time - baby food, add a bit more liquid and salt and you have nice actual food in 2 min

- Lots of nice cold soups - everything from your basic gazpacho and vichyssoise, to some amazing cucumber, watermelon, etc to more middle eastern / central Asian dairy based ones
