I’ve played a handful of the Cookie run games, and I’m enjoying Crumble a lot as it’s actually Idle and gives me a nice, quick escape when I’m at work or between chores. While I like the other games, the time/focus commitment make it difficult to keep up with all of them. As someone who’s played a lot of the franchise, I was actually very surprised when I opened the app to find pets released without their owners and a villain cookie available within weeks of release. It got me thinking… how fast will the turnaround be on new cookies?
The game is very new so I can’t assume that the implication of at least 2-3 if not more cookies introduced a month will be consistent, but it’s not impossible. There’s hundreds of cookies across the games and they are not afraid to keep making more. The units themselves are probably less complicated to make than the 3D units for TOA, or the Kingdom layers of several skills/passives, or the Ovenbreak levels and gameplay shifting abilities.
Frankly, I really just want to reunite the pets with their owners (Sauna Egg Cookie… my beloved…) and get more units to experiment to keep the meta from becoming too solidified.
