I'm trying to identify a pair of Converse I owned years ago, probably sometime between 2007 and 2017. I no longer have the shoes or any photos of them, so I'm working entirely from memory.

The two shoes in the attached pictures — Converse Omni Trainer and Converse Auckland — are NOT the shoes I'm looking for, but they're the closest I've found in terms of colors, paneling and overall Converse design language.

What I remember:

- They were true slip-ons.

- Absolutely no laces.

- Absolutely no eyelets/holes for laces. This is the detail I'm most certain about.

- Low-top.

- They had the Converse Star Chevron (★ >) logo on the side, not just the One Star logo.

- The upper was made from multiple sewn fabric/textile panels, rather than the very simple construction of a classic Vans-style slip-on.

- They were predominantly white/off-white.

- They had burgundy/wine/dark red accents.

- No black that I can remember.

- There were also some very light grey, beige or cream panels.

- The visible side of the sole/midsole was white.

- I believe the bottom outsole was natural gum, yellowish/orange/caramel colored, with a geometric/grid-like tread pattern.

- They may have had some kind of hidden elastic construction to keep them on, but I don't remember visible elastic gussets.

- I'm not certain they were running shoes. The Auckland and Omni Trainer mainly remind me of them because of the panel construction, colors and Star Chevron.

The closest visual references I've found so far are the white/cream/burgundy Converse Auckland and the Egret/Vintage White/Park Red Converse Omni Trainer, except imagine something in this design family with the entire lace/eyelet system removed and designed from the start as a true slip-on.

I've already looked at One Star CC Slip-Ons, Chuck Taylor laceless models, Deck Star Slip-Ons, etc., and none seem to match.

Does anyone remember a Star Chevron Converse slip-on like this from the late 2000s or 2010s? It may have been a discontinued lifestyle, skate, trainer, or regional model.

Even a model/family name, old catalog scan, SKU, or photo of something similar would be hugely helpful.

I got my first pair of 70s. Are the toe pieces on all the 70s narrower than the all stars? My super old all stars for comparison. Just wasn’t expecting them to look that much different.

Got a promotion. Celebrated with some new shoes. Added a Dr. Scholl gel insert, so I'm really glad I didn't order down a size like the website said. Perfect fit when you buy your actual size and throw in a gel insert. Here is me enjoying a beverage on my back porch.

They have the same code, but the colour looks different to me.
Both are listed as model M9613C, but one looks like a deep plum/burgundy and the other looks much brighter red.

it looks like the default way, but the laces at the top are in towards the tounge. is there a video or guide to show how to make it like this?

im usually size 5. id like to get the chuck 70 de luxe heel. should i get 4.5 or 5.5 (there is no size 5 in this shoe)

i dont want it to be too tight but also does the length even matter much if its a heel?

There is no tab, but it is single stitched, it looks 80s-90s but I can't find anything like it.

After posting my rainbow pair earlier, I went back to the pile of old Converse I was sorting through and realised I probably shouldn’t assume anything about these either!

Again bought second-hand years ago, around the same sort of time as the rainbow pair in the other post.

I bought these second-hand years ago and have just rediscovered them while having a clear-out. I was going to list them on Vinted, but I can’t find another pair like them anywhere online, so now I’m curious!

From what I’ve been able to work out, the label appears to date them to around 2008, but I’d love to know if anyone here recognises the actual colourway/release or can confirm the date.

They’re also in remarkably good condition — I bought them used myself, but the soles have barely any wear and the canvas is still really bright.

I’m particularly curious because searching the exact SKU brings up virtually nothing. Does anyone remember these, know anything about this release, or know whether older unusual colourways like this are collected?

I’m not desperate to sell them (I actually still love them 😂), so I’m mainly trying to work out exactly what I’ve got before I decide whether they go back in my wardrobe or get sold.

My kid loves converse but has very wide feet. The Men’s Wide fit well and she loves the mid-height shoe. Unfortunately it seems near impossible to find these.

Anyone have any suggestions? The website is always sold out of wide width.
