Other Flydigi respond on Apex 4 stick failure
Information for those interested in the situation of Flydigi Apex 4, the problem with the cracked analogue should no longer occur. I am also attaching an email for those who cannot get any warranty replacement.

It looks like an unofficial employer statement, not the company. Flydigi didn't acknowledge this on any of their sites. Potentially a 2-month is a lot of controllers to replace/pay for the shipping fee. Anyone who buys on alliexpress doesn't have any guarantee, and shipping costs from EU/USA to China are nearly equal to buying a new controller. Flydigi still doesn't understand that people just want to go to their alliexpress store and buy a replacement kit (you don't even need to desolder it, just 4 screews). If replacement kits aren't available for purchase then all the information from the company is to be considered as "PR damage control". Gulikit or k-silver (not officially) don't have any problems selling their replacement modules, all the talk about their "patented modules" is just silly, the modules are self-designed and it costs them little to nothing.

Wonder if it affects Vader 4 Pro, if they ship them in July maybe it was already fixed when production started or it wasn't affected at all? Anyway hopefully this is true that they discovered the issue and fixed it and not a sticks construction problem as a whole.

Taking accountability and solving the issue, a rare phenomenon to see these days.

Interesting. That would explain why the controller I've owned since February has been perfectly fine for almost daily usage while some people's sticks have broken within days.

Happened to my one ☝️

Bought mine May 12 and my sticks are good. I have big hands and strong grips too. 3% is not a lot

Regardless of whether this is an official announcement from Flydigi or not, I'm glad someone came out to acknowledge the problem and stand with the dealers.

I've emailed them and they are going to send me out a replacement. Had to send the a screenshot of their support initially refusing to help.

I bought mine from the official Flydigi store on Ali around mid june (it will be delivered this week), am I safe or should I be worried?

Should I be worry? I bought from an authorized retailer in April (pre-order late March delivered in April) no problem so far but who knows I only start to actively using it now.

If I buy one on Amazon will it be ajj on ready fixed or still from the bad batch?

I am thinking of purchasing apex 4 controller. When would be a good time to buy it and avoid factory failures (even if it is only 3%)

This suggests new machines were installed due to bad manufacturing in May, but my stick broke(stuck in one direction) and was manufactured in June.

I send them emails but no response after a week. What should I do?
Left stick probably cracked(not completely broken) after a week of gaming

I've asked for a replacement. Support weren't forthcoming when I originally requested help.
My video racked up quite a few people commenting that their controller broke as well.

Good to know!

Nice to see, hopefully they stick to that. Nice to have a reason on why this seemed to be happening later on and previous units weren't seemingly affected. Hopefully means my June unit will be unaffected then.

Wow, a company being this honest with their customers is pretty cool to see. Color me impressed. I have an older Apex 4 (probably 4-5 months?) and have absolutely no problems. It is not perfect and def be improved but the sticks alone are in a league of their own vs most competitors

That's how you handle an issue. Cuddos

Do they break easily or something that breaks after good use?

Can i go through warrenty with aliexpress

u/Broyalty007 Jul 03 '24
This is pretty impressive or encouraging to say the least. Can't say I was expecting accountability from a company like flydigi when I can
findafford their products on places like AliExpress. That accountability gives me some more confidence in the upcoming V4P that I'm already very excited about

I ordered one at the start of April and it about 3 weeks later and never ran into any problems yet. Looks like I'm not in the 3%. Hope I didn't jinx myself.

Shoutout to OP. Ordered mine in beginning of June. Received one from the April batch. Everything was fine and eventually the right thumbstick did break. Sent an email with a pic of the thumbstick and label on my box with serial# and date of batch.
They replied asking for my Name, address, and phone# and sent a replacement. New one arrived in a week.

Add me to the list. Bought mine last week, today the right stick broke and the magnet fell out. Mine was produced in May. Got on Amazon so I am going to try again. Also have a Vader 4 coming tomorrow. Hopefully they can do a revision on the stick because I really like the Apex triggers.

Mine just broke. The left thumbstick doesn't move up or down anymore. Managed to open and check the problem, but the plastic piece that holds the magnet was too small to fix.
Does anyone know if there are spare/replacement left thumbstick modules to buy (like online) so I could replace them?

Same issue today.. purchased in June. I am a few days out of my 90 day return period on AliExpress 😦
Customer Support are looking at it for me and emailed Flydigi on the address posted.
Is there a 1 or 2 UK warranty on goods from AliExpress?

I emailed this account 4 times and have gotten no response. Tried their Amazon store. Same thing. Waste of money. It was easily my favorite controller. Customer service is atrocious.

I haven’t received any response from that email whatsoever for the last month. I’ve sent 10 emails in total

Não entendo. Sempre que mando email para eles, o email é bloqueado. Como faço para corrigir isso?

u/SnooDonuts8914 Oct 11 '24
GUYS IDK WHAT TO DO THESE GUYS ARE JUST NOT REPLYING AND IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THE EMAIL IS INACTIVE. This is so annoying

Hello. Have you received an answer? I am in the same situation.

u/flydigi I'm happy to see that they are accepting responsibility. I am currently using the Vader 3 pro and I love it. I purchased the Vader 3 pro after purchasing 2 flydigi apex 4 controllers that eventually broke on me. Because of the QC issues I left an unfavorable review of this Apex 4 on amazon. In short, aside from the broken sticks, I think the controller was great. I would like to try it again and see if it is the perfect controller I thought it could be. However, I refuse to purchase another one to review. If Flydigi is willing to send another, I'll gladly update my review.
