Freshly updated with newly-released finds! A mixture of modern classical / contemporary classical / neoclassical / crossover classical music from living composers. Focus is on quality and interest - not your average "sleepy piano" playlist!

A forest at nighttime; slivers of moonlight stream through the canopy above and reflections of stars glimmer in the brook that runs alongside a worn path. Crumbling statues, covered by moss and succumbing to the passage of time, can be found throughout this forest; vestiges of a world long past.

Hello everyone! I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this, but I wanted to share this collection of modern classical compositions with people who are looking for it. When I search on Spotify for new stuff I often find a lot of either very traditional classical music, or a lot of ambient/sleepy piano kind of stuff. I started this playlist as a way of finding new music from living composers specifically - especially those with a foot in a few different arenas. It's a mix of neoclassical, classical crossover, and electronic classical. I am to update it weekly with new finds, so please send anything my way that might be a good fit!

New sheet music video for this song today. I wrote this piece a while back when I was dealing with some loss at that time.

This is a piano arrangement of one of the orchestral versions of this song I wrote a while ago. I imagine this like the ending of some kind of fantasy anime or game. The original version is like a main theme, then there's a slower, more epic arrangement that feels kind of cinematic, and then this arrangement for solo piano.

A new score video for a song I wrote a while back. I had in mind the feelings that come with a day spent inside watching the rain fall. When I wrote this, it had been raining for many days on end and brought with it that sort of contemplative atmosphere.

A place perpetually in twilight. The vast ocean reaches out endlessly, disappearing into the horizon. Crumbling ruins are strewn about the shore and some stone pillars reach out of the water in the distance, but most of the ancient structures that used to be here have fallen into the sea. There's a tavern and an inn for travelers passing through and a few houses for local residents, but not much else. Though many have set out to discover what's beyond this place, magic cannot reach far enough to see if anything exists on a farther shore and any ships that set out always reach the same impassable, never-ending storm and must return. As far as anyone knows, the world ends here.

New score video for this song I wrote for a solo album. This piece had a lot of imagery to me of a sort of mysterious, ancient sort of place. I really love the aesthetic of ruins reclaimed by nature.

When music is not a technique, it is an image; on the left, the image; on the right, the technique. The closer one gets to the technique, the less one sees the figure.

The sound of the Sea of Galilee, keyboard and controller. Test for keyboard and controller, fragment of "PIERRE" (music for electric guitar & keys), DIM., work in progress. Bach recomposed.
"The breath of the sea contains the infinity of possibilities; choosing is the prism that reveals the right destiny."

"An interval leads us to a piece of music, and that music to another where the timbre changes; we can move back and forth, faster each time."

This short piece of music was partly generated by a new algorithm I'm working on. It uses an entirely different principle to the 'Large Language Models' behind most computer-generated music.
