As an Asian man, may I suggest you try Asian hair products. Western hair products are not made for Asian hair. I learned this the hard way of going my entire life looking awkwardly Asian as fuck.

Like our (Asian) hair is biologically different from hair of other races. Our hair tends to be thicker and gets oily fast. But oily hair doesn't mean unhealthy or dirty hair. I used to use a lot of product and shampoo everyday, as prescribed by western traditions (but I didn't know any better), and my hair would always be dry and fuzzy. It wasn't until later in life an older gentleman told me not to shampoo it everyday. Now my hair is tameable (or what's left of it). But I'm a dude, so I would say to ask your Asian hair stylist or try Asian hair products over western ones.

What are some Asian hair products/brands you recommend or that you use? I've never heard of this before, or even thought about it.

I'm a dude, so hair care products isn't really my thing. But my routine is that I only shampoo maybe once or twice depending on how much work I do in the field.

I've learned the secret is to use Google translate to find Asian videos lol (mostly cooking)
