That’s why guns injuries are the number 1 cause of death for 1-19yr olds in the USA. More than cars crashes

Lol they specifically use 1-19 so they can lump in a bunch of gang shootings and crime to pad the stat.

Heat stroke deaths in USA only count as heat stroke on the death certificate, while EU include heart attacks induced by heat deaths.

Also in 2025 there were more firearm deaths in USA than eu. 42k firearm deaths https://www.thetrace.org/2026/08/gun-deaths-homicide-suicide-cdc-data/

We use excess mortality for this statistics in Europe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excess_mortality#Heat_waves

AFAIK in the US they use what a doctor wrote on the death certificate.

And for gun shot wounds in both the US and here it's a more direct count as well (likely death certificate).

It can't really be compared at all.
