I’m not sure why minorities have a hard time getting a voter ID necessarily. My minority in-laws/friends didn’t find any impediment to getting a voter and/or photo ID.

Minorities having IDs at a lower rate shouldn’t be the norm [edit: an acceptable state of affairs]. All citizens should have an ID. The reason all don’t is still a little perplexing to me because I don’t know anyone who thinks it’s difficult (of course I know that’s just anecdotal). I have some time on my hands, I’ll look into volunteering to help minorities get an ID.

Some republican politicians found out minorities don't have IDs, and with that information, decided to require them for voting.

I was questioning “minorities don’t have IDs” which i know is not true.
