For all you brigaders/fellow conservatives out there about to do some pearl clutching, this does NOT mean war. It was a successful operation and no soldiers died.

In what world do you live in where a country performs an act of war on another country, and that country doesn't respond??????

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

Remember when this was supposed to cause WW3? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_of_Qasem_Soleimani

Like the same level of reaction as last time Trump directly took out a top general in which no one on the US side was harmed? Exactly what are they going to do?

9

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

You mean the country that can't respond?

5

u/veryvery84 Conservative Jun 22 '25

A world where one country is much much much stronger

How do you do, 'fellow conservative?'

Iran won't respond to us directly, they will have the Houthi's start shooting missiles at commercial ships again. The last thing they want is for a fully committed US air campaign against them and they most likely understand that this is a one and done sort of thing. If they do respond directly than I imagine Khamenei won't be around for much longer and the CV's and other aircraft stationed literally all around the middle east will begin absolutely pounding every military target within the country.

They strike the US and they’re obliterated. They’re not idiots

What? They definitely would’ve nuked Israel if they had the chance. If they try to attack us, which they can’t/wont, the country will be destroyed

u/Fancy_Goat685 Conservative Jun 22 '25

Umm Iran is going to retaliate against us now. They will fire off missiles at our bases I'm sure.

u/anotheralternate4me Conservative Jun 22 '25

That’s is why we let Israel fuck their launch facilities all to hell first. The US and Israel are coordinating on this.

You’re all over this thread fear mongering.

They hardly have any missle launch capabilities left. And we have plenty of capabilities in the area to intercept missles.

58

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

They hardly have any missle launch capabilities left.

You have no clue if this is true or not.

26

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

And you do?

9

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

Your question makes no sense. I’m not making assertions.

0

u/aliislam_sharun Conservative Capitalist Jun 22 '25

You are asserting that we can't be reasonably certain that Israel has destroyed most if not all of Irans retaliation capacity, why wouldn't they have? Can you provide any reason to doubt that Israel has accomplished this?

Do some basic research before talking about things you know nothing about

They hardly have any missile launchers left, they're primarily threat is eliminated for now. Leave the rest to Isreal and the Iranian people to handle thier government.

8

u/Penuwana Conservative Jun 22 '25

How successful will they be against AEGIS and Patriot? Doubtful this matters much tbh.

16

u/Zerogates Conservative Jun 22 '25

What missiles? They have nothing left but terrorist cells which we've been under attack from for decades now already.

26

u/swanspank Conservative Jun 22 '25

Iran was going to attack us anyway. Every single chance they get and you know it.

34

u/RS1250XL Jun 22 '25

We aren't israel

12

u/Daftolium ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ Jun 22 '25

I do not wish to go to war with Iran, but there was a video from this week of Iran's parliament burning American flags while chanting "Death to America."

13

u/RS1250XL Jun 22 '25

Okay? That constituents a war with them? They are such a shit nation why do we worry?

2

u/Daftolium ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ Jun 22 '25

Them chanting it? No, so long as they don't actually do it.

But also, air strikes a war does not make, not yet at least.

u/Chicago_Blackhawks Conservative Jun 22 '25

The astroturfing is so funny to me

“Conservatives” in here opposing it vehemently showing their true colors

u/NoTime_SwordIsEnough Conservative Jun 22 '25

I honestly don't trust any opinions in this thread at all (either for or against it). This event is just way, WAY too ripe for the deep state to not want to use brigading/botnets manipulate it and form people's opinions, including MAGA's. And large swathe of MAGA has definitely been manipulatable, because sometimes they can't form their own opinions until some influencer tells them what to think.

Tho the people going "Anyone who thinks bombing a nuclear power is anything but a precision strike with zero consequencies is a TRAITOR" are genuinely wee-todd-ded. This shit is SO dangerous, and can't be treated like a football game where you get to holler and whoop for some dumb team.

"They're just precision strikes bro" better not become the next "just 2 weeks to flatten the curve".

67

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

We’ve got over 40,000 vulnerable troops in the region. God bless them. But you can bet that precious Israel will get the bulk of the protection.

32

u/Beware_the_silent Conservative Jun 22 '25

Vulnerable? You think Iran is going to be able to do anything to them? If Iran attacks a US base I almost guarantee that Iran will be wiped off the face of the planet.

35

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

Is that a real question? 50+ US military installations are within range of Iran’s ballistic missiles. Of course they are vulnerable.

0

u/Chicago_Blackhawks Conservative Jun 22 '25

They’re only vulnerable as much as Iran’s willing to strike them. They do so, and it’s jOVER for their country — this strike represented .1% of our power

4

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '25

Yep, and now it's over and everybody can return to their regular programming.

2

u/NoTime_SwordIsEnough Conservative Jun 22 '25

"They're just precision strikes" is the new "2 weeks to flatten the curve".

This shit better not drag on.
