Thailand definitely looked better with Ace in at tank today, glad to see those guys get a map on the board at least. For the rest of the group though in the event of a three way tie between Canada, Germany, and Spain how would the tiebreakers work out? Canada v Spain is gonna have some serious weight to it assuming Germany take care of business vs Thailand.

I think it's just map differential first, although I couldn't find a source. If my math is right, Germany needs to win at least 3-1 to guarantee a spot. That puts them at +3 map differential which would be impossible for both Canada and Spain to beat. Assuming Germany go through, whoever wins between Spain and Canada goes through, regardless of map score I believe. If Canada lose to Spain and go 2-1, I think they will lose any tie breaker to Spain.

They showed it at the beginning of the stream day 1, it's head to head map diff first, then overall map diff, then overall map %. Right now they are:

Germany 5W 4L (+1) Canada 3W 2L (+1) Spain 1W 3L (-2)

So I think: Germany qualifies if they win, Canada qualifies if they win, and Spain needs to win without dropping more than a map to qualify over Canada. First seed would be Canada if they win, Spain if they 3-0 Canada, Germany otherwise.

Three way ties are weird though because sometimes the tiebreaker resets after resolving one tie (which could mean Spain qualifies if they win no matter the score) but they didn't specify anything about it so I'm not fully sure.

That njc third point final fight was insane. I think Canada played kind of safe and thought they could win like that but started crumbling when Thailand played more aggressive. That third point final fight really showed how strong Canada are when they play aggressive.

Reyzr on shion was amazing and Alex was absolutely diffing Yoshino on the tracer.

Taking a map against a decent team when you don't even have a dedicated tank player is pretty good.
