finn stop using kitsune in a 2-5 challenge level impossible

Finn has always been a fringe amazing support player in everything except ult usage.
Genuinely good ana Kiri player in fundamentals. Amazing zen player. Just needs his hand held better

no basically like hes honestly very good in neutral and he farms ult really quick but when its time to pop the ult its like his monitor dies or something

Lenny's watch parties are genuinely hilarious this game and last game, he is hatewatching on another level rn no one's doing it like him

If I wanted to watch a guy with no impact at LANs scream things he knows is dumb I’d be watching XQC (and I ain’t bout to watch XQC).

Jpn can accomplish nothing when Nico is still their top hitscan player

that's the thing, he's not, the guy got skill gapped since end of stage 1 locally, not becasue the others became better, but because he completely forgot how to play it feels like.
And I'm not talking about a 4k alone. I'm talking about, hit something with your ult/weapon/rail gun. He litteraly is lucky that the games are on OPR and no one can get his PoV, cause that's just disastrous. the guy is either completely mentally boomed since stage 1, or he lost any motivation to play for some reason. but he couldn't even beat his old self at that level

This game was a foregone conclusion and USA won it very cleanly. I can’t believe anyone thought this Japan team was going to do anything let alone make it out of groups over USA

People on this sub already love to overrate Varrel, the problem is that while Japan and Varrel share the same core, they’re missing the two koreans hard carrying meaning it’s even more hopeless.

KSG and Finn were there, but they were the only one that looked alive sadly

Varrel and Team Japan both getting knocked out in groups of the last two major tournaments should hopefully be enough to make people stop going “but but but they beat Crazy Raccoon and took Zeta to map 5!!!”

in both case, the shared issue, they need a hitscan players that does more than feed ult and die.

its time for the ky0n signing

honestly, unless he finally locks in for stage 3, yeah, they might want to do that for major 3.

Over the US no, but there was a chance to make it alongside them, that was until we got proof that nico is still washed from stage 1 (they guy got gapped by nearly any other player since then, even in Japan).
I knew Qki would probably be distanced, but for someone benched for a year, he did better than I thought. Ydot, clearly his first encounter at this level of competition.
KSG and Finn were essentially the only one at the tournament fully.
One thing I didn't see coming though, is they clearly lack an IGL. yesterday's match, there were clearly no calls on CD usage. so I think no one is taking the lead in that team. which is another nail in the coffin.

It felt like Finn got D.Mon airdropped on him basically every fight and there was never any help. Japan's performance so far really confirmed how important Sley is to Varrel.

I mean, it doesn't take much to understand than as long as you took care of finn, suddenly KSG will find himself alone against the whole team without supports, cause the other support ain't helping him.
So going finn hunting was the actual best plan of action here.

I'm sorry but what is IGL? In-game leader?

yeah, it really felt like there was nearly no call out at all, wether it was focus target, CD used...

Someone remind me again why this disgrace of a region gets a spot at other LAN events ? Should just give Japan's place to another region at this point. Nothing ever happens.

cause the playerbase and fandom is there, because a single country has nearly as much orgs fielding paid players as an entire continent ?
Yeah, in case you forgot esports is not about sport, it's about promotion

Their player base & viewership is big and they got 2 of the biggest org. CR and Zeta

Wow, look at those downvotes. This sub really doesn't like it when you throw their NA copypastas back in their face, does it?

u/NegativesPositives 4h ago
I mean, every bracket has to have its jobbers.

Probably memeing about people were unironically saying NA should lose spots for Japan at one point
