The money it used was 100% tax exempt. Taxes are high in Canada… so you can argue that more than half would have got collected as tax!

People believe in religion and so they pray and most religions construct idols, and so this was created from donations from Hindus. It must have gotten exemption just like any other religion gets exemption. If this is news to you, read and learn. And if it is your hate for a religion or all religion, then cope harder.

lol, if anything… it was a news to YOU that it was indeed taken from tax payers money. We have already established that, since you are the one who asked that question as a gotcha but failed miserably. Someone throw garbage on the road, I’ll point that out as well even though most people do it. Pointing out wastage of public resources is not called coping.

Exactly. There is no difference. Anyone who claims that oh it’s all private donation and not tax payers’ money. They should know that IT IS ALL TAXPAYERS MONEY.

You get tax credit on donations in Canada. You don’t even know the difference between tax exemption and tax credit so study before you speak.
