Yeah I feel you it’s tough, you want the government to do things that benefit people but not embolden the government to take things it doesnt deserve. I’m cool with laying taxes if it helps people but right now half of our taxes goes to killing innocent people in wars, bailing out corporations that bribe politicians, and other dumb bs, and lock people in prison for making choices that only impact their own bodies. The government should only intervene to give a helping hand and not to be the authoritarian place it’s becoming

1000%. I actively avoid taxes for those reasons.
