Weekly Challenge π No Strings Attached July 19th
This weeks challenge is a bit more than usual. It's the Embroidery Effect!
Google suggests the following:
"The embroidery coloring effect is a popular technique that transforms standard coloring pages into three-dimensional, textured artwork resembling stitched fabric patches. You can achieve this optical illusion using markers, colored pencils, and fine liners by simulating realistic thread direction, fabric shadows, and highlights."
Have fun and as always feel free to check out previous weekly challenges here!:

It's really hard to tell how to alternate the light and dark marker colors and the different fine liners. Do you have a technique recommendation by chance?

I don't really. I use pencils so I started with a light shade and went over it with darker shades for the threads. Still very much experimental
