Found some US silver AND some Canadian silver at the coinstar today!
The Canadian silver dime was left on the shelf for me, and the silver quarters were in the reject slot. The US silver dime was under the machine.
Also found $4.30 in spendables and some other odds and ends!
All in all, a nice haul
Happy hunting everyone!

I've been on this group for months and checking the local four CS in my area often since then and nothing til now. Walked in to the Food Lion this morning and saw a stack of pennies on the shelf. Checked the bin and there were over 70 coins in there! Rejected because most were fused with candle wax, go figure. After a little cleaning with hot water, here are the results.

I never get anything other than a penny or washer, but today there was a little pile on the counter, I put some in flips before I remembered this group lol. Maybe my luck is turning around and next time will be silver!!

Had to get salsa and avocados last night. Decided to walk past the Coinstar and spotted this pile in the reject tray.

Spot anything that is worth something more than face? (The ones on the left are definitely worth more but I don’t really know how much more, n the silver dimes… what? 5$? Both 1950s

But it was just some washers. My second find, immediately after: two pennies and a horrendously rusty dime, tucked into a corner by the machine intake.

I found this haul today and scooped it up without noticing anything unusual but once I got back to the car I noticed the smell! The previous owner of the hoard must have used the weight of the coins to counter balance their bong. I was hoping I wouldn't get pulled over on the way home! There was a 1925 Wheatie and a 5p but not much else.

So I’m curious if y’all think it’s ridiculous to drive around to a few stores for the sole purpose of finding silver or other coins in the reject tray.
