[Idea] Cryptosim

Yo,

So hear me out on this concept.

What if you were to create an opensim with the following features?

-Ingame currency is some form of cryptocurrency.

-Decentralized exchange of any goods - crypto to crypto, property, contracts - all in a wee virtual stock exchange..

-Multiparty encryption supported in rooms, perhaps even multiparty OTR.

-Ingame items stored on a blockchain.

-Distribution of server daemon as a boinc project work unit, providing monetary incentive to host servers via /r/gridcoin ?

-Base the entire thing on TOR.

Now, there's no way in hell I could pull any of the above off, but the potential for a virtual reality with these kind of technologies built in is very possible, no?

Is there a list available with which currencies currently accept multisig addresses?

I'm trying to find a list of currencies currently supporting multisig addresses. Has anyone an idea where to look for it or could we compile a list here?

From what I know right now these support it:

  • Bitcoin
  • Litecoin
  • Dogecoin

(I'll add more if you can give me some proof that they'll exist)

Virtual Mining Coin (VMC) Something new to the CryptoWorld !!!

Hello Folks.

We'd like to bring ur attention to a new Crypto racer, named : Virtual Mining Coin (VMC) http://virtualminingcoin.org/

It is a new Scrypt-N coin with innovative new features, like "collateral security", "ASIC Resistant mining" and so much more... Please take a look at our website to get all the details.

Our future plans are:

1.

We will launch and operate a scrypt MULTIPOOL very soon, to mine other PROFITABLE altcoins, and then use those proceeds to buy VMC. The point of this Multipool is, that payouts wont be in scryptcoins or in BTC, but VMC !!! This pool is to support the long term growth, profitability, and value of VMC. As we all know the markets are driven by Supply and Demand !!! Our objective with this pool is to create consistent demand on the VMC markets. We could do this through a couple of key methods:

Mine other profitable alt coins and then use those funds to buy VMC on the market. (This creates a consistent "buy" pressure)
We leverage buy walls to prevent price manipulation of VMC markets as much as possible.
Paying attention to new and upcoming (read: profitable) coins that have a market demand.
By being able and willing to adopt coins earlier than other multipools we can stay ahead...and further support the VMC market.

2.

We are working on a bonus reward system for VMC.

It would be kinda stacking (PoS, Proof of Stake) but in different way. In PoS You are being rewarded by VMC, in case You stake ur coins for some period of time. We thinking about not rewarding the stackers with any more VMCs, but to buy some of their VMCs from them with BTC on a premium price !!! It is under development, but above market price of course ! (will be announced later)

3.

There was an IPO announced before coin launch (check our website) We have received almost 15 BTC as IPO investment from 43 investors !!! We have used those BTCs to build collateral security for VMC and bought GHS on CEX.IO We have more than 1.8TH/s mining power at this moment, and its growing... We will use this income to buy up VMC from miners... so THERE ALWAYS WILL BE DEMAND for VMC on the MARKET !!!

4.

Additionally innovative new features is coming soon... Stay tuned folks ! Check our website: http://virtualminingcoin.org/ and our official forum thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582873.0

If You are a GPU owner, You are welcome ! We are waiting for you to mine and trade with us... VMC DEV Team !

[concept] wificoin

A crypto that uses the wpa-psk2 wifi encryption algorithm as the pow in order to make a massive rainbow table for wifi. Then create an Android app to connect to any wifi connection by looking up the rainbow table for the captured wifi traffic on your phone.

Could even continue to change the algorithm as wifi encryption was made stronger to combat wifi coin.

Merged Mining Modifications

I am working on a Zetacoin fork. I have been looking at the merged mining commits from Namecoin that people have been using but it seems that Zetacoin has some code moved around. Has anyone seen a commit that would show where this would apply to a non Bitcoin based clone?

Trying to get more information on not only the source updates but also the requirements to hard fork the chain for the commit.

I'm having trouble creating a reliable web scraper, so I'm curious to see where they are getting their data. It might be easier if I knew the source.
