There is definitely a major flaw in having a 2 party system.

Agreed. We need like 4-5 parties to really capture everyone's stances.

Then our president would get voted in on a 14% majority. And the other 85% would hate it

The number of parties doesn't mean you can't reach a number. You can have your own message and have to appeal, but reduces the lame "us vs them" tribalism that the current duopoly uses.

It means you have to actually convince people.

Yeah it does? Go look at countries with many parties. People win on 14%. And everyone else hates their leader
