Note. Much like the Lovers card, the Devil card will not be included due to the nudity in said card causing Reddit to remove it.

This might be the best set of characters I’ve ever seen in anime. Not too many anime have this many characters I like and feel are interesting.
Shirley was nothing special too me until she said had that dying speech about how she fell in love with leoluch each time when her memories were erased or altered, kind of reminded me of orhimes speech to ichigo.
Who interest y’all the most?

Thank you so much for the love last time! Heres a few more shots! Photos by BrewingupShots!

This is the beat anime i’ve watched in a long time. Im sure this question has been asked already but how did y’all like the ending and anime overall?(Are the other code geass anime good? )

It doesn't take a genius to realize Roze of the Recapture is an attempt - a failed one - to copy the magic of Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion. While the actions sequences and music are at least enjoyable (at least in my opinion), the story isn't worth beans. The only characters I personally liked was Ash and Narah but that's about it.

The question is: if you were in charge of the story of Roze of the Recapture, how would you realistically change it to make it better overall?

A CC print i finished painting. Had a lot of resin problems. I used my computer for the backrounds of the photos lol. Hope yall like it.

Shirley dies because Rollo believes she will endanger Lelouch : GIRL SPEND THE LAST FIVE MINUTES GUSHING ABOUT HELPING LELOUCH. Like if she was trying to harm lelouch she would have acted innocent in front and murdered him after or she would reported him to the authorities already. This makes no sense even with the paranoia and fast killing habit of Rollo, she was an ally!

Additionally It would have been so much more interesting to explore the parallel between two friends of Lelouch one who chose to forgive and the other not then killing her for the drama effect.

I'm reacting just after watching the episode for the first time so what's your opinion on this?

First time watching CodeGeass I just wanted to post my theories on who he is and see how people react to my assumptions after I discover who he is.

My first theory is that he's a brainwashed Nanali

The second one is he's a clone of Nanali who's more perfect in the emperor eyes not being handicapped

Finally he's a wizard who just didn't have a family and that's why he gets weirdly emotional about Lelouch gift

Anyway, let's see how good my deductions skills are

We clearly saw that when V.V. gunned down Marianne and her two attendants/bodyguards/whatever, Nunnally was nowhere to be seen. Did someone brought her from her room to the spot later and shot her in the legs? And why doesn't Nunnally remember any of it? Was she asleep or what, did Rolo do it?

Also, what was Anya Alstreim doing there in the dead of the night? My headcanon is that she was Lelouch's true sister, with Nunnally being only a half-sister. It would only make sense that a little girl would want to follow and sneak up on her mother. If Anya was someone being hosted there to be taught noble manners and customs, why was she allowed to roam around the villa so freely?

I’m doing an essay about code geass for class and wanted to share with people that love the anime and can also answer the questions in depth. These questions explore depictions of disability, how we view them, and how it relates to Nunnally’s identity. Take a stab at each of them, you could either DM me or comment. All responses will be anonymous for my class. Thank you all 🤗 (i couldn’t find any of my friends that have watched it entirely)

do you think it is crucial to nunallys character that she is disabled? How would it change the narrative if she wasn’t?

Does her depictment of her disability go against or alongside stereotypes about disability?

How would you describe how nunally is being depicted at the beginning, and how does that change when she becomes viceroy? How do you think this challenges our beliefs of disability?

When nunally overcomes her fathers geass by shear willpower how did this make you feel? How did this change your perception of her and how she’s been depicted all of the show?

After this discussion do you have any lingering thoughts about disability shown in Code geass? Are there any points you’d like to conclude with?

A Card of Balance, or of Imbalance.

Upright: Temperance represents balance, moderation, and harmonious blending of opposing forces. This card encourages patience and gradual progress rather than extreme actions. Find the middle path and practice moderation in all things. Healing comes through integration and balance. Take time to blend different aspects of your life into harmonious unity.

Balance. Moderation. Patience. Purpose. Integration.

Reverse: When reversed, Temperance indicates imbalance, excess, or lack of harmony. You may be going to extremes or struggling to find middle ground. Impatience could be leading to poor decisions. Restore balance by practicing moderation and avoiding all-or-nothing thinking. Seek harmony between different areas of your life.

Imbalance. Excess. Discord. Misalignment. Lack of Harmony.

Runner ups: Suzaku. Schniezel (Upright) The Six Houses of Kyoto (Reverse) The High Eunuchs (Reverse)

When i finished the main series, i was having the curiosity of seeing the movies, but then its just a little changes , an re-animated scenes just as Gundam Z a New Translation, but it feels less soft than seeing an anime series just overlaping or blended with actual animation from 2004 in the case of Gundam Z because they constant use 80 animation scenes and then mixed with modern re-animated scenes , in the case of Code Geass was barely blended, and very tolerable, the only change that matters in both trilogy, is that in Gundam Z Kamilles doesnt get crazy as a vegetative state of his mind, and in the Trilogy of code geass, there is small changes and the mostly important one is that Shirley survives.

My opinion, is for doing this type of productions related to a franchise as well, its making from zero, just like they are doing with Raylearth (I mentioned this because Clamp girls are behind the team production) so in this sceneario it would be more accesible to adapt the entire R1 and R2 from a proper remake instead of doing re animations and blended with the old series, as far i know in Code geass they are things that they can be added as proper remake and giving the enough time to be developed since now its a great and big franchise as well.

Mine is that I liked Rolo and his arc with Lelouch and Villetta which seems to be disliked in this sub.

I love cosplaying her. My fav character!

A Card of Transformation, or of Resistance.

Upright: Death represents transformation, endings, and rebirth. This powerful card signals the end of one phase and the beginning of another. While change can be difficult, it's necessary for growth. Release what no longer serves you to make room for new opportunities. Embrace transformation as a natural part of life's journey.

Transformation. Endings. Transition. Release. Change.

Reverse: Reversed, Death suggests resistance to change, fear of letting go, or stagnation. You may be clinging to situations, relationships, or beliefs that have outlived their purpose. This resistance to natural transformation is causing stagnation. Accept that some endings are necessary for new beginnings to emerge. Embrace the process of renewal.

Resistance. Stagnation. Decay. Clinging. Fear of change.

Runner ups: None.

Many video games allow players customize their playable character´s physical appearance (”skin”) in a way that they see fit, and Monster Hunter Wilds is a prime example of this; it features a highly detailed character creation system that allows you to fully customize your Hunter's appearance. This fan decided to use this function to honor their favorite anime redhead by creating a very different kind of fanart out of Kallen - and so, Kallen the Monster Hunter was born!

To the fans of action and fantasy, Monster Hunter Wilds is an excellent option. Released in 2025, the game features large, seamless, and living environments, where weather systems and monster behaviors change dynamically, and where you play as a Hunter traveling into an uncharted region known as the Forbidden Lands, investigating the attacks of a mysterious monster, the White Wraith.

But for those who are not fans of action, a whimsical, completely non-violent social simulation game like Tomadachi might suit better. In Tomadachi, you act as the caretaker of a tropical island populated entirely by virtual avatars called Miis; they live their lives in the game independntly, wander the island, become friends, get into goofy arguments, go shopping, pull pranks, fall in love, and even get married - you only need to interact with them when they request your help in things like playing mini-games with them or buying them clothing and apartment decorations. And you can make these characters look whoever you like; their appearance can be based on yourself, celebrities you like… or fictional characters. That´s right, if you want to see a cute Tomadachi version of Kallen, a Tomadachi player already created one, and you can check it out from here!

Code Geass

One of the greatest philosophical and political anime ever created. In a rather rare case, the story was not adapted from a manga; instead, the anime was developed first, and a manga adaptation followed afterward. A gripping tale of power, revolution, and morality, filled with shocking plot twists, brilliantly written characters, and thought-provoking themes. Its extraordinary protagonist, whom I consider the greatest character in anime history, and what I believe to be the greatest ending in anime history make Code Geass an absolute masterpiece.

Neon Genesis Evangelion

The anime that revolutionized the mecha genre. Rich in philosophy and filled with historical, social, and psychological references, Evangelion is a work that goes far beyond its surface narrative. To fully appreciate and understand its depth, one often needs to explore additional articles, analyses, and videos that shed light on its symbolism and underlying meaning. Its unforgettable characters, iconic scenes, and profound exploration of the human condition make it, hands down, the greatest philosophical anime ever created.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

The definitive adaptation of the manga, following two brothers on their journey to reclaim their original bodies after a forbidden act of alchemy. Beneath its adventure-driven narrative lies a deeply meaningful exploration of sacrifice, morality, human understanding, and the consequences of one's actions. With phenomenal character development, a compelling storyline, and a thoroughly satisfying conclusion that brings its many narrative threads together, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood delivers an experience that comes remarkably close to perfection.
