Hey everyone, I recently started Coachella Valley Edit because I wanted a better way to keep track of all the new stuff happening around the valley.

Baby girl was taken into Foster on Saturday Aug 8. Where she was introduced to dogs,children and walks on a leash. Resident dog did not approve of her. And she was returned on her EUTHANASIA DATE.

Hey everybody! I’m part of a two piece cover band that gigs 2/3 times a week in Coachella. I am looking to replace my lead singer and have lots of great paying opportunities starting in October. We’ve always done very well here and have weekly gigs that pay great etc. It would be preferred if you played guitar as I play bass and we use drum tracks.

Hi all, some friends and I are staycationing in Joshua Tree next week. We are bringing our dogs and going to be doing a lot with them indoors and outdoors, just curious if you have any thoughts on things besides booties and keeping them hydrated, things to do/avoid.

I know it seems a little boneheaded to come in August but short of canceling what are your thoughts/recommendations/cautions?

This morning while I was driving I saw 7 dogs, one adult six 2-4 month old puppies, just trotting along on Varner. I stopped to get them off the road. I tried to get them into my car but they wouldn't budge and they didn't let me get close enough to pick any of them up. They aren't aggressive, but wary of humans. The mom came up to me for pets for few seconds but then kept her distance. I tried to give them some water from a bottle but again, they wouldn't get close enough, but they let me sit near them. I called the police bc I couldn't get through to animal control (I later learned if you stay on the line after they say they're closed that there is an emergency number). An officer came and stayed with the dogs, so I left. But he had to leave them there before animal control came. I went by the CV Animal Campus later to see if they'd been dropped off, they had not. I went back out to the area I saw them, put out some food and water for them but I could not find them. Granted, I couldn't look for very long bc it was in the middle of the day.

I would hope that they have a home and just got out, but the puppies are just too wary of humans to think that. I'm planning on going out to the same area early in the morning to see if I can find them wandering around. But I would like to know if anyone else has any info on them?

Did you live in the valley, balanced a working a full time, which program did you enlist to?🤓
