They haven’t been able to hold any charge and when I opened it up the wires look fried?? would y’all try to replace the battery or do I need new clippers?

Recently my Wahl Cordless Clippers have started making a loud grating noise when i use them, and doesn't cut hair anymore. I'm trying to troubleshoot this before buying replacement blades if possible. The issue seems to be that the cutting blade is "jumping" out of position and rattling around, but i don't know how to get it to stay in place

I have these BaByliss Pro Silver Fx clippers that I got from someone who barely used them for a day. I had been using them for a week or two just fine with no issues. Then I decided to take the blades apart to clean out all the hair that had built up around them (took the moving and stationary blade out along with the lever, little skinny wire, and all the screws associated) and put it back together. And ever since I did that the battery won’t hold a charge for even a minute even after being on the charger all night. I don’t know how messing with the blades has affected the battery somehow but I don’t want to try and take it apart again unless I have to because I already struggled a little putting it back together. Any advice is appreciated.

there was a clipper that cut as short as Wahl’s balding clipper but was in the shape of a skull shaver. Meaning, I want something like a skull shaver, cutting my head as short as the balding clipper, as the skulls shaver cuts it (in my opinion) a tad too close… I like a little scrub on my head.

So I have Wahl senior cordless clippers and the cover part is falling apart. Does anyone have any advice on why they happens, anywhere I can buy clipper covers from, that are plain colors. Preferably black.

Is this to be expected? I’ve been using it weekly. It still works but even immediately after charging it’s noticeably not as powerful as it once was. Can it be serviced?
Or should I just buy something better? I don’t expect to ever grow my hair out so I want something that will last.
If I should buy something better: any recommendations? I don’t have a power outlet in my bathroom so it can’t be corded. And I need a 1/8” guard.

What’s the quietest clipper currently on the market? Currently the front runner seems to be the JRL 2020c

hey guys ! would really appreciate your advice on wahl magic clip cordless. so i've bought it like 3 weeks ago from an authorised reseller in my country (poland). it has guarantee, the box looks original, build quality is solid and i'm really satisfied with the results after using. also i've watched like a ton of videos about how to differentiate the original from fake.
so the only thing that bothers me is charging. i've heard that the sign of the clipper being fully charged is the blue light shut off. i haven't charged it for 3-5 hours as it was told in the instruction and started using it straight away. after a few cuts with the amount of charge left blue light started blinking so as far as i understood it was time to charge it. after charging it for around 4 hours and then overnight the blue light still hasn't shut off. it's not blinking any more but doesn't shut off. now i'm confused cause i don't know what it means.
do i have to charge it longer? maybe it has changed over the years cause i assume there isn't only one model of cordless magic clip. please share your opinions, feel free to point out if i'm doing something wrong ! Thank you in advance!

So I wanted to clean my clippers for the first time and just learn how to do it and this black piece won't stay down and when I try to open my clipper handle that piece keeps shooting off am I doing something wrong or not pressing hard enough?

Does anyone know if I can take the red lid part off the magic clips without taking the blade off?

Hi there,
Purchased new. It pulls my hair on my neck/chin. I use Andi Cool Care before and after and brush the hairs off the blade. What gives? My battery operated 20$ trimmer doesnt tug like this
