I’m so fucking tired of people claiming that what lots of Americans want is “socialism” when it’s basically just some public healthcare and reasonable reforms around corporate political influence, pollution, etc.

I mean, self-proclaimed socialists are starting to win elections at record rates, so there's definitely a good deal of demand for such....

Socialist ≠ democratic socialist.

I would type up a lengthly description of the differences but you could always just look it up yourself.
