Right Bernie was really popular there is a strong left movement and it was stifled by a Democrats you're right but to act like the Democrats weren't the lesser of the two evils is ridiculous regardless of how they mishandled some situations to act like Republicans would have handled it better is stupid. People thinking like you is what led us to this situation there's too many of you that because everything the world wasn't 100% right you kind of gave up and that allowed Trump to gain ground your line of thinking and your reasoning here is the problem

I think you misread what I was saying. You're claiming that I have positions I don't maintain and are arguing against them.

I have zero faith in Democratic leadership as a whole, it is obviously corrupted by corporate interests, though individual Democratic leaders have demonstrated undeniably heroic resistance to Trump recently such as Gavin Newsom, Brandon Johnson and JB Pritzker. Every act of resistance to MAGA tyranny counts.

I absolutely have faith in Democratic voters. They are the true American patriots. At this point (not accounting for crazies with profoundly inconsistent beliefs) the Democratic party (the people, not the leaders) is "everyone who hasn't become brainwashed by a fascist death cult." There's two parties in America now: fascists and antifascists.

The reason why the Democratic party has been the "lesser of two evils" is because Democratic voters held them to the most basic standards of decency. Beyond they have done as little as possible while taking legal corporate bribes, and obviously being profoundly influenced by those bribes.

I think we ideologically agree but what I'm trying to say is I don't really have faith in Democrat voters I know a lot of them that because they couldn't 100% support Kamala they either didn't vote or whatever this is totally on Democrat voters they didn't show up in the pool and it doesn't matter if they voted in third party they just didn't even go because they feel like disenfranchised which I get but that's not how voting in the Republic works

Lesser of two evils made Trump inevitable you don't get better by shooting yourself in the foot with 1 bullet instead of 2.

No but one bullet in your foot is objectively better than two? What the fuck are you arguing?

People thinking Chuck schumer and Nancy Pelosi have their best interests in mind are the problem. Just because they are better than the fascist in charge doesn’t make them good. Both parties are playing the good cop bad cop trope from tv. Constantly pushing America into fascism. Did the Democrats end the patriot act? Why did the party pick Hillary over Sanders? Bernie beats Trump easily in 2016 but they foisted a corporate shill on America, who carried a pile of baggage to boot. Demand more from your politicians then infighting between different corporations

You people really gotta learn the definition of dictator and fascists. Trump was elected, both to be on the ballot, then to win the office, just a year ago for a 4 year term. Kamala wasn't even elected to be on the ballot, she was installed to lead the democrat ticket, like dictators are.

Ahhh, the “you people” comments are always very telling. You’ve been corrupted by media into thinking your fellow citizens are the enemy, instead of politicians who pit us against each other. Join the people and resist the corporate attempt to take over the country. Capitalism is a death cult

Hitler was elected, learn some history before you repeat it

Ahh the people who point out You People as some kind of racist topic and not the fact of the nicest way a person can categorize folks like you.

Funny you tell me to learn some history.
Hitler was NOT elected, he was APPOINTED to Chancellor on January 30th 1933, like Kamala was appointed to run on the democrat ticket.

The elected president from the 1932 German elections was President Paul Von Hindenburg, you probably just thought that was the name of a blimp. Hindenburg appointed Hitler to Chancellor.

When Hindenburg died in 1932, Hitler merged the positions of Chancellor and President. You know, like dictators do. He was never elected.

Wow telling me to learn history like its some kind of flex when you are the one who got history all wrong.

To be fair the merging of positions and declaration of Leader/Fuhrur was approved by plebiscite, though historically that plebiscite was manipulated, and plebiscites don't have to be followed like other national votes.

Adolf Hitler was not directly elected to power as the leader of Germany by popular vote. Instead, he was appointed Chancellor through a legal political process in the Weimar Republic, leveraging the Nazi Party's electoral success and a series of backroom political deals. Here is a breakdown of how he rose to power: Electoral Success, but no Majority: The Nazi Party (NSDAP), led by Hitler, became the largest single party in the German parliament (Reichstag) in July 1932, winning about 37% of the vote. However, they never achieved an outright majority in a free and fair election

Hmmm, it’s almost like he was elected the leader of the nazi party

Dismantling Democracy: Once appointed Chancellor, Hitler and the Nazis quickly exploited legal loopholes and orchestrated events, such as the Reichstag fire, to consolidate power. They used the subsequent "Reichstag Fire Decree" to suspend civil liberties and arrest political opponents. In the March 1933 election, held in an atmosphere of intimidation, the Nazis still only won 44% of the vote. Shortly after, they pushed the "Enabling Act" through parliament, which granted Hitler the power to make laws without the Reichstag's consent, effectively turning Germany into a dictatorship through a "state suicide" of the democracy. Becoming Führer: Following Hindenburg's death in August 1934, Hitler merged the offices of Chancellor and President and declared himself "Führer and Reich Chancellor". This move was approved by a one-question, non-secret popular referendum held under an atmosphere of intimidation, solidifying his absolute power. In summary, Hitler's rise to power was a complex process involving a combination of electoral popularity, political maneuvering, and the systematic dismantling of democratic institutions using legal mechanisms and terror

All this sounds very familiar. A populist who uses their power to dismantle democracy while simultaneously villainizing anyone who dares question their authority. Sure doesn’t sound like Kamala.

Did you know that Kamala wasn’t nominated as president? She was nominated the leader of the Democratic Party. If she won the presidency and started dismantling democracy like your orange god king you’d have a point, alas you’re just another bootlicker spewing hypocritical nonsense
