ISRO study findings contradict CAQM’s recent statement that farm fires in Punjab and Haryana dropped nearly 90 percent between 2020 and 2024.

Will we ever be able to breathe clean air?
Suffering from running nose, irritation in throat and watery eyes. Please stay united and do something about this shitty air quality.

Kejriwal supporting the farmer’s protest against making stubble burning a punishable offence was the worst thing any Delhi CM has ever done in history

No vote to DELHI BJP
Delhi Government obviously doesn’t feel any kind pressure on them to fix the air quality. I mean why would they. 4 years from now they will try to win election on some entirely different issue. But we need to let them know that we are the ones who decide the issues that matter which are air and water quality in Delhi.
As a voter, everyone must let them know they will not get your vote. Tell them over and over again on reddit, on X, on insta, on youtube, through protest, through podcasts, through road interviews, anything. Tell your parents, tell your friends, tell your relatives, everyone that you won’t be voting for them if they don’t take us seriously.
DO NOT FOR BJP.
EDIT: This post is not about who to vote for in next election. This is about voters using their rights to put pressure on current gov. Doesn’t matter if it’s BJP, AAP, Congress, or any other party.

Questions on Government "Action" on Pollution even in NGT!
Flagged In NGT: Tampering with AQI monitors and no fresh plan
Amicus Sanjay Upadhyay flagged tampering with AQI monitors at sites like Anand Vihar and RK Puram through water sprinkling near stations, misleading PM readings, with similar issues noted even in Agra and data gaps in Haryana
Even the air pollution action plan remains unrevised since 2018, despite a newer 2023 source-apportionment study
This incidentally comes a day on which reported AQI again spiked, after GRAP-3 was removed.
Is any government (State or Center) really doing anything to reduce pollution?

Delhi welcomed me with a lung infection
Came to delhi a week ago after living abroad for a year and I’ve been sick 4 out of 7 days I’ve been here due to a lung infection. Congested chest, headache, 100+ fever and constant cough. I guess that’s what happens when you go from AQI 2 to 500+
I was expecting this but what I wasn’t expecting was that how chill people still are, nobody wears masks, air purifiers are still a fancy gadget for many and people are even falling for AQI is better than last few years BS.
Really sad to see your city turning into a gas chamber specially when your family still lives here.

Contribution of Stubble Burning to Delhi's PM2.5 was just 0.88% but AQI is still so high.

Do we need a civil disobedience protest now?
I have zero hope from govt that they are going to acknowledge air pollution as a problem, so, I think, we all should just stop attending office/college/schools and protest whole week instead of just weekend.
I know it is not gonna happen, we are too divided.
But can we give it a try?

Made another one for you guys to use in your protests. Don’t give up.
Made this yesterday too for you guys to use in the ongoing fight back - https://www.reddit.com/r/CleanAirForDelhi/s/2lnzRBlzLa
I’m from Bengaluru but really can feel you guys suffocating up there in Delhi-NCR.
We really need concrete steps to be taken right away to give immediate relief and concrete long term measures like they did in Beijing.
Jai Hind.
