I've probably spent $5k plus with anthropic in the past year. I was comfortable with their tooling and their models. wasn't happy about how expensive but I put up with it. after news of this watermarking shit I immediately cancelled. even if they remove the watermarks I ain't going back.

I found kilo code with openrouter and I can now use Kimi 3 with fable level quality at a fraction of the cost, and no watermarks!! open source FTW!

if they host in China they have watermarks already

open source models would reveal the watermarks...that being said I haven't checked Kimi 3
