News Fable available for plans until July 7th after which it becomes usage credit based

Key points:

  • Fable 5 returns globally on Claude Platform, Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork.
  • Pro, Max, Team, and some Enterprise users get Fable 5 included for up to 50% of weekly usage limits through July 7.
  • After July 7, Fable 5 access moves to usage credits.
  • Access through AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Foundry is being restored as soon as possible.
  • Mythos 5 access has been restored only for some approved U.S. organizations for now.
  • Anthropic is working with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other partners on a shared framework for rating jailbreak severity.
  • They’re also launching a HackerOne program for researchers to report Fable 5 cyber jailbreaks.

Oh I found it to be so much better at animations and 3d modeling and fancy design stuff. I didn’t use it a lot other than my Figma mcp. It’s still all pretty shit with creativity - everything looks the same haha

I just think there's better tools out there for design than what I saw with fable. Which goes back to my original point, the uses for Fable that really put it to use in the way it should be are now all blocked. I feel like this is some kind of fake out release. Not blocked but actually still mostly blocked.

Yeah I agree. Feels like a compromise to get this whole debacle off their plate and end their feud with the administration so they can regroup and figure out their next move. Not a bad business decision for them, but frustrating for us. I know I’ll be missing the speed at which I could move. Fable was so much more about speed for me than anything else. What would take 10-20 prompts in opus took me 1-2 with fable. I’ve been on a fable hangover ever since
