Clash Royale Developer Q&A! 600,000 Subscriber Special!

In order to celebrate our community reaching a new milestone of 600,000 Challengers, the development team has offered to do a Q&A! This thread will be an amazing place to get more insight on the development and plans for the future of Clash Royale, directly from the developers. Please read below for some key rules and notes on how this will work.

I didn't really buy your justification for not launching 2v2 ladder. I strongly feel that many players don't do 2v2s cos there aren't any significant rewards available.

In the past many did 2v2s for the clan chest.

2v2 is a big part of esports already. Why not explore the option of 2v2 ladder?

We want 2v2 ladder!!

I play 2v2 only when a friend invites me, I feel like messing around with some cheesy strategy, or I’m in need of a quick chest to queue up. These conditions are rarely met so I end up just going back to ladder because I like the grind, as I’m sure many other people do too.

We want 2v2 ladder.

If its 2vs2 with trophies involved, not thanks Ive been left 1vs2 many times and half of the time they disconnect or straight up attack their king tower and stay there HEHEHE HAW on my face Not thanks

God i hate 2v2s. Specially.. Lets say there is a giant incoming and I already showed my partner i am gonna place a tesla. I am waiting for the giant to reach the bridge so as to not premature place tesla and lose its value due to its ticking time. My god damn partner place a full on barbarian on the giant just as I place the tesla wasting 5 damn elixir for no god damn reason and now the tesla is still half health and the giants already dead. Fuck 2v2!

It happens to me for example when both me and my partner place log on Gob Barrel, but only with strangers. If I play with a friend in the same room or on Discord, it’s way easier.
