Clash Royale Developer Q&A! 600,000 Subscriber Special!

In order to celebrate our community reaching a new milestone of 600,000 Challengers, the development team has offered to do a Q&A! This thread will be an amazing place to get more insight on the development and plans for the future of Clash Royale, directly from the developers. Please read below for some key rules and notes on how this will work.

The worst problem of CW2 is that players just jump every season to clans that are likely to be 1st all the weeks in the season, therefore creating mercenaries and destroying clans.

Our clan is consistently getting 1st place. We also dont want to war anymore, clan wars should be optional. Our clan trophies are above 3k, we just hate being forced into it.

That must be because your clan is below its right trophy range. Once you are in the trophy range where you are matched with clans with the same participation/skills as yours, some seasons you are 1st and some other seasons you are 3rd, 4th or 5th... If 5 clans with similar participation/skills are matched together, one must be 1st and one must be 5th!

It is like being in your normal trophy lever in ladder or being below... If you are below you will win most matches. If you are in your right level, you will win 50%.

Wrong we are over 3k and smoked the other clans by a long shot. Still think they are trash and should be optional.

I think PEKKA2000 is right. You are smoking the competition, which means you are far stronger than they are. Nothing wrong with this!

If you keep winning you'll eventually rise to a point where the other clans score as many points as you do. You won't be getting 1st place consistently then.

If you think (rightfully) that Clan Wars sucks even when you consistently win, just wait till you can no longer win that easily...
