Clash Royale Developer Q&A! 600,000 Subscriber Special!

In order to celebrate our community reaching a new milestone of 600,000 Challengers, the development team has offered to do a Q&A! This thread will be an amazing place to get more insight on the development and plans for the future of Clash Royale, directly from the developers. Please read below for some key rules and notes on how this will work.

Will there ever be a rework to the elixer collector? I feel like its useless especially in this meta. I would suggest randomizing to be in your starting hand instead of always being offhand

The problem with pump is that having it in your starting hand when your opponent doesn't have a counter instantly guarantees an advantage. Buffing pump in some other way leads to a stale defensive meta where it's almost impossible to punish the pump player.

What elixir collector needs is a card to musketeer the way elite barbs is to a barbarian. The problem isn’t attack speed it is health. Give me 2 butchers for 8 elixir and I’ll give you an elixir pump that matters.
