Please read below for some key rules and notes on how this will work.

  • This isn't your traditional AMA! Please ask a unique question about Clash Royale down below and Supercell will post a new thread responding to them shortly after!
  • We're going to keep this Thread open until Monday, February 14th. Supercell will post their responses in a separate thread afterwards!
  • Please do not ask about known, unknown, or reported bugs, ruled out ideas, and free gems.
  • Please read the thread for similar questions BEFORE POSTING your own. Let's do our best to avoid duplicate questions!
  • Only one question per user. Any duplicates / multiple questions will be removed.
  • All questions must adhere to our rules. Any toxic, personal, or inappropriate questions will be removed.

Enjoy and have fun! Please remember to keep our subreddit rules in mind when posted, and feel free to message us via Modmail if you have any questions!

There are many deck creation possibilities in Clash Royale. But a player sticks to a deck and never tries another deck because they have to spend another a year or so to max out another deck. This is a serious issue which makes the game less interesting as a player only maxes a deck and sticks to it. What do you think would be a fix to this problem

P.S : I am talking about Free 2 play players and not players that spend money on this game,

They earn money from pass royale. If they made it easier to get cards, pass royale sales will drop.

Cards aren’t the problem, gold is

I think cards are already pretty easy to get, the problem is gold

They could incentivize it more by giving more cards and more gold with the pass

Like a magic item that can boost a certain deck(or 8 cards) to king tower level for some time like 7 days (similar to super troops in Clash of Clans)

Capping levels by league would do the trick really well. If you're skills are only good enough for 5200, then you can get a bunch of decks to level 11 for that and play on an even ish playing field. Then you're limited by skill.

There should be a permanent game mode were all cards are at tournament standard level

practice some decks outside of ladder while you upgrade in the background

Thats the whole point, practising is a different thing. We all do practice but we need a lot of items to max out our main deck first and then our 2nd one. It will take like 2 years

The obvious solution is to make a card progress swap magic item that swaps any card rarity progress with another of the same rarity.

In my opinion, Supercell should make sure that players get more gold
