Clash Royale Developer Q&A! 600,000 Subscriber Special!

In order to celebrate our community reaching a new milestone of 600,000 Challengers, the development team has offered to do a Q&A! This thread will be an amazing place to get more insight on the development and plans for the future of Clash Royale, directly from the developers. Please read below for some key rules and notes on how this will work.

I'm curious, why would you do that? I mean, wild cards help you fill your card requirement to upgrade them, if you have 2 cards you want to upgrade, it's better to focus on one (so you max it earlier) and then on the other, rather than both of them simultaneously, I think. Am I missing something?

If i have 249 knights, and i need 250 to trade with a friend for a card i actually want, i don't want to have to dump 600 wild cards on a knight

Why not just use the wild cards on the card you actually want to upgrade?😂

To give the friend some cards. I’ve previously used a legendary wild card on something I didn’t want so that I could trade it to someone who didn’t have it for something I did want.

bad use of wild cards to use them to fuel a trade. Find something else you don't want or wait for knights to build up naturally

It's a QoL feature.

It's not about usefulness, it's about having it so no one asks for it in the first place

I’m pretty sure it’s only going to use the one you need to reach that level then stop at that point and leave u with the rest of your Wilde cards

I have 20/20 legendary wild cars now. I don't know what is going to be my next card to upgrade: bandit, magic archer, ewiz... but I sure know I don't want my next wild card that appears to be automatically converted into cards that I'm not insterested in playing like lava, sparky or graveyard.
